Lee Kee Group has been awarded for Sustainability Excellence

On 11 January 2024, Lee Kee Group once again receives multiple CarbonCare Label awards, including the “CarbonCare Label”, “ESG Label” and “Carbon Care Star Label” – a special recognition accredited by CarbonCare InnoLab.

With great pleasure, Lee Kee Group has been awarded the “CarbonCare Label – Level 4” for our outstanding work in sustainability development and future-oriented activities.  Level 4 standard is a recognition of 60% emission reduction in the application year.

The label is a special program that evaluates applicants based on how well they measure, reduce, and assess their carbon footprints and with the consolidated effort with their stakeholders.

Additionally, it is the 2^nd year in a row, the group is receiving the “CarbonCare Star Label,” it is a unique honour bestowed upon the effort on its exceptional achievement in meeting its carbon reduction obligations.

With Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) has raised ESG Reporting requirement since 2016, the expectations on this report have been increasing, which the CarbonCare® ESG Label is consistently upgraded to reflect the latest international trends, regulatory requirements and community aspirations. Lee Kee Group continually been granted the accreditation of the “CarbonCare ESG Label 2023 – Best Practice in ESG Reporting Level.”

In addition to the CarbonCare® Label Award Ceremony, the event also aimed to raise awareness about COP28 and facilitate discussions on how various sectors in Hong Kong, including government departments, schools, social welfare organizations, non-governmental organizations, listed companies, and small and medium enterprises, should respond to COP28. CCIL hopes that the event will inspire all sectors to take further climate action.
